Add-on Overview: Lot Tracking

Typically when two crops of the same item share a location and ready date, eGrow Connect will automatically combine them into a single crop. This module allows you to retain crop separation which may be necessary for compliance or record keeping purposes.

What does it do?​

  • This add-on module allows you to assign each crop a unique Lot ID at the time it is added to the inventory. The Lot ID will maintain crop separation even if items with the same Product ID later share a location and ready date.

Who needs it?​

  • Nurseries that must keep detailed records of where items have been along the growing process.
  • Nurseries who proactively guard against disease and want to track if inventory has been exposed.
  • Nurseries that want more detailed information about crops to assess performance.

What changes will I see?​

  • The Lot ID column will appear throughout eGrow Connect as you view, search, and filter inventory.
  • You will have the option to allow or block duplicate Lot IDs in system setup logo System Setup.
